Level 3 (Advanced) Apprenticeship
The Urban Body Bar are working with Kleek Apprenticeships to help train new team members with the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to become a qualified wellbeing and holistic therapist. Alongside the outstanding training being provided by the salon team and Kleek educators you will also be learning how the business works, all while earning a wage.
Duties will include:
- Assisting therapists - Learn firsthand from seasoned professionals.
- Reception and answering telephone enquiries - Be the welcoming face and voice of the salon.
- Greeting customers - Spread smiles and warmth to everyone who walks through the doors.
- General salon duties - Dive into the heartbeat of a bustling salon.
You will receive training towards modules including...
- Indian head massage - Relieve tension and promote relaxation with traditional Indian techniques.
- Anatomy and physiology - Understand the body's structure and function to provide effective treatments.
- Aromatherapy - Harness the power of scents to enhance well-being and relaxation.
- Zone therapies - Utilise reflexology and related techniques to restore balance and health.
- Colour therapy - Explore the impact of color on mood and well-being in therapeutic practice.
- Consultation and lifestyle - Tailor treatments to individual needs, considering lifestyle factors for holistic care.
- Crystal healing - Harness the energy of crystals to promote balance and healing.
- Running an effective Salon business - Manage and grow a successful salon operation with strategic planning and customer care.
- Health and safety - Ensure a safe and sanitary environment for clients and staff.
- Holistic massage therapies - Offer integrative massage techniques to address mind, body, and spirit for complete well-being.

You will be training towards a wellbeing and holistic therapist, Level 3 qualification, supported by Kleek Apprenticeships and the team at your home salon. Wellbeing therapists deliver specific treatments such as; aromatherapy, acupressure (manual digit pressure massage applied by the hands to specific points on the face or body) and holistic massage (therapeutic hands-on massage therapy that affects the clients physical, emotional and mental wellbeing), Indian head massage, lymphatic drainage and wellness experiences. They provide post treatment aftercare and make future recommendations. You will work closely with clients and will need the ability to put them at ease, and generally be pleasant and personable.

After you have completed your wellbeing and holistic therapist, Level 3 qualification you will be a fully qualified therapist and will be able to work independently within your salon.
You will be able to develop your skills further by advancing onto any of the other apprenticeships available with Kleek Apprenticeships, each of which will allow you to increase your knowledge add to your skill set and become ever more valuable to your salon.
Once you have successfully completed the program you will be submitted for your End Point Assessment. The EPA is an assessment of all the knowledge, skills, and behaviours you have learned throughout your apprenticeship, it confirms you are ready and competent in the career path you have chosen.
These assessments have been designed and developed by employers in the beauty industry to reflect the daily work of a wellbeing therapist. This makes them very sought after by employers across the industry.
