Little Lady Locks Christmas Appeal

This year, Kleek Apprenticeships has been proud to support Little Lady Locks, collecting donations and gifts for children and young people experiencing alopecia and hair loss.

Across our academies, apprentices, educators and clients came together to donate gifts, creating a moment that the Little Lady Locks team described as “overwhelming”.

“We couldn’t believe how much there was”

Speaking about receiving the donations, members of the Little Lady Locks team shared just how impactful the support from Kleek Apprenticeships has been.

“We’re just so grateful, it was so overwhelming. We weren’t expecting as much as there was. When we were opening everything, we were just saying, ‘Oh my gosh, look at this, look at this.’ We honestly couldn’t believe it.”

Across our academies, donations included sweets, hair accessories, socks, toys, pamper products and more, all suitable for children aged 18 and under.

Little Lady Locks explained that the donated gifts will be used across several of their initiatives, including Little Lady Locks Donation Boxes, the Rapunzel Tower, Princess Pamper Parties, and future projects such as ElizaLand.

“When the children open their donation boxes and see the little goodies inside, they always message us to say how much they love them. Once they’ve got the headband or wig, it totally changes them. They’ve got the confidence to wear fancy clips and accessories too, and it makes them feel like a little girl again.”

Helping the charity focus where it matters most

The generosity shown through the Kleek Christmas appeal also allows Little Lady Locks to redirect vital funds.

“Donations like this mean we don’t have to keep buying everything ourselves. It saves money that can now be used for wigs, accessories and supporting children who may be out of school.”

Receiving such a large volume of gifts has taken pressure off the charity’s team, enabling them to focus on their core mission, restoring confidence and supporting families during incredibly challenging times.

“It’s taken a huge weight off our shoulders. Now we don’t have to worry about having nothing to put in the boxes, and that makes such a difference.”

Every contribution helps the charity continue its amazing work, and most importantly, helps put a smile on a child’s face when they need it most.
