- Educator of the Year: Jane Wills
- Apprentice of the Year: Kitty Katana
- VTCT Champion: Tina Ockerby
We’re proud to be nominated for VTCT Skills Excellence Awards 2025 as these awards recognise excellence in the talent, dedication, and innovation of educators and learners across 17 industry sectors including hair and beauty, health and social care, logistics and early years childcare.
The Large Independent Training Provider of the Year award recognises training providers who have gone over and above to help their students or apprentices.
Jane Wills, a Hairdressing Educator in our North West region has been shortlisted for Educator of the Year. This nomination is thoroughly deserved and recognises Jane’s dedication to her apprentices, in helping them overcome any obstacles to flourish and surpass expectations and whilst delivering innovative and high-quality teaching.
Kitty Katana, a Level 3 Hairdressing apprentice has been nominated for Apprentice of the Year. A great accolade for Kitty, who also won an Apprentice of the Year Salon Award (Kent) in 2024.
Finally, we are delighted that our Managing Director, Tina Ockerby, is nominated for the VTCT Skills Champion: Contribution to Sector award. This award celebrates champions who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and creativity in shaping their sector's future. Now in our 25th year, Kleek has been at the forefront of hair and beauty training under Tina’s leadership.
We look forward to the Awards Ceremony in Welwyn Garden City on 3 July 2025, and wish all Kleek nominees and all fellow nominees, the very best of luck!
