Double Distinction Delight for Alex and Blossom

Congratulations are in order for two of our most recent Level 3 Apprentices, Alex and Blossom

 

Alex from Saks Northallerton and Blossom from The King and I both achieved distinctions in their Level 2 and Level 3 Hairdressing qualifications. Double the success and double the celebration! They trained at our Academy in Darlington, where educators were thrilled with their progress and proud to see their dedication and talent recognised.

 

We asked Alex and Blossom to tell us how it feels to have joined the "Double Distinction Club" and how Kleek Apprenticeships and their salons supported them...

Kleek: How do you feel completing your Level 3 and achieving a double distinction?

Alex: I'm extremely happy. I've worked really hard over the past three years and it's amazing to see that hard work pay off!

Blossom: I’m incredibly proud of myself for achieving distinctions in both Level 2 and Level 3. I couldn’t have done it without the amazing training and support I received from Marcus King and my dad, Michael Veitch, as well as the educators at Kleek. Each of them played a crucial role in guiding me through my apprenticeship, and I’m truly grateful.

 

Kleek: How have Kleek and your salon contributed to your success?

Alex: Both Kleek and Saks have been a huge support throughout my journey, giving me the best opportunities to learn and grow. They believed in me from the start and constantly encouraged me to become the best stylist I can be.

Blossom: With the training I received from both my salon and the Academy, I’ve grown personally and developed the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the hair industry. This foundation has allowed me to truly focus on my passion for creative cutting and colouring.

Kleek: You are both clearly very talented and creative stylists, where do you see yourself in the future?

Alex: I would definitely love to own my own busy salon one day and teach my own apprentices to have the same success as me! 

Blossom: In the future, I hope to travel the world doing hair while continuing to expand my knowledge of the industry, which is one of the things I love most about this career. My dream is to explore the more creative side of hairdressing, working in TV and film, travelling globally, and educating the next generation of hairdressers.

Alex: Alex was a focused and determined learner from day one, with a clear vision of what she wanted to achieve. Her attention to detail and ability to absorb and apply everything she learned played a big part in her earning a well-deserved double distinction.

Blossom: From the moment I met her, it was clear that hairdressing was in her blood. Her natural talent, passion for the industry, and vibrant personality shone through, helping her showcase her skills and knowledge during her end-point assessments and achieve an outstanding result.
