This Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship will provide expert training in developing engaging content across various media platforms. This experience would enhance the CV of any ambitious hair and beauty professional.

Course Overview

Whether you're a salon owner looking to grow your brand or an aspiring content creator ready to launch your career, our NEW Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship covers a range of content-led ways to help you or your staff to promote your salon and gain new business in our ever-evolving digital world.

With Kleek, training is tailored specifically to the hair, beauty and barbering industry. Alongside achieving the nationally recognised Level 3 Content Creator qualification, apprentices learn how to create impactful campaigns, attract new clients, increase bookings and build stronger salon brands.

The Qualification

This program typically lasts between 12 and 15 months and includes a combination of on-the-job training, workshop attendance, and online learning. Participants must commit to a minimum of 6 hours of training per week to successfully complete the apprenticeship.

Apprentices will develop the skills to plan, create and evaluate engaging content across social media, websites, photography, video and digital marketing, while learning how to grow audiences and deliver real business results.

The Units

The Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship covers a wide range of creative, digital and marketing skills, alongside the professional knowledge and behaviours needed to create engaging content for today's ever-evolving digital world, including:

Interpret briefs, research ideas, and apply audience segmentation to plan content that aligns with brand requirements, marketing strategies, and campaign objectives.

Create, adapt, and edit written, visual, and or audio content using industry-standard tools and packages, ensuring accessibility, inclusivity, and suitability for different platforms and or formats.

Publish and deliver content across channels, engage with audiences, and adapt communication styles to evolving circumstances while monitoring user experience to maximise engagement.

Apply regulatory, legal, and organisational requirements, including copyright, data protection, accessibility, and inclusive language, to ensure content meets compliance and quality standards.

Analyse data to evaluate campaign success, apply lessons learned, and use professional development planning to improve future content creation and maintain up-to-date knowledge of tools, platforms, and trends.

How The Apprenticeship Works

The apprenticeship will be delivered online and with occasional on-site modules – full details to be announced in due course.

Completing The Apprenticeship

Under the new assessment reforms, your assessment will be completed throughout your Content Creator Apprenticeship, rather than everything being left until the end.

You’ll demonstrate the skills and knowledge you’ve developed through practical content creation tasks and assessment activities linked to the work you do.

This means you can show what you can do as you progress, making assessment a more natural part of your apprenticeship journey.
